Vision
Our Three-Fold Vision:
- Missions: See thousands of African missionaries sent to reach millions of Muslims in Africa and beyond.
- Orphans: We see the multiplication of world-class orphanages and schools.
- Microfinance: The multiplication of Christian financial empowerment programs so families can support themselves and the advancement of the good news of Jesus Christ.
History
Gospel Outbound was founded in 1997 as a 501(c)(3) Christian missions agency to support, through finances and short-term mission trips, a ministry in the highlands of Guatemala. We expanded across the globe to include evangelistic and compassion focused outreach in Myanmar, India, and Uganda. Most recently our main focus has been to work with Ugandan and U.S. churches and individuals to help them engage to a greater degree in ministry to the unreached and disadvantaged.
Mission
Through education and partnership development, we will help Christians in the U.S. and Uganda work together to facilitate a missions sending movement into North Africa and beyond. Our focus will be on some of the most unreached Muslim nations of the world. We will also work with New Hope for Africa orphanage and school, moving toward building a world-class facility, and work with Kabowa Redeemed Church Women’s Savings & Loan (microfinance) Program, building a successful model that can be multiplied to financially empower poor families and churches in the expansion of the Gospel.
