Faith Statement
We believe the Bible, in the original languages, is the infallible inspired Word of God which is complete and final and the authoritative guide for living. (2Tim. 3:14-16, Ro. 15:4, 1Cor. 2:13, 2 Pe. 1:21)
We believe in one eternal God who exists in three persons; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ) and God the Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:26-27, Mt. 3:16-17, 28:18-19)
We believe that God created man in His own image, and as a result of sin man lost his spiritual life, becoming dead in his trespasses and sins and subject to the power of the devil. (Gen. 1:26, 2:17, 6:5, Ps. 14:1-3, 51:5, Jer. 17:9, 2Cor. 4:4, Eph. 2:1-2,
2Tim. 2:25-26)
We believe that there is a threefold consequence of sin. (Romans 6:23)
• Physical Death (Gen. 3:19, Ecc. 12:7)
• Spiritual Death (Eph. 2:1)
• Eternal Death (Ro. 6:23, Rev. 20:11-15)
We believe that Jesus came to earth, born of the Virgin Mary, as God in human flesh, being fully God and fully man. (Mt. 1:18-25, Jn. 1:1)
We believe that Jesus lived a perfect life fulfilling the law of God in order to become the substitutionary sacrifice for all who will believe in Him. (2Cor. 5:21, Heb. 4:15, 7:26, 1Pe. 1:19)
We believe that all who come to Jesus Christ in faith believing that he died for their sins and resurrected from the dead shall be saved. (Ro. 10:9, 1Jn. 2:23, 4:15, 5:11-12)
We believe that as a result of salvation, all believers produce the fruits of the Holy Spirit and the results are evident in their life. (John 15:1-11, 2Cor. 5:15, Gal. 5:22-24,
Js. 2:14-26)
We believe in one universal Church, embracing all who are united to Christ by saving faith and divine grace, and that the founding of local self-propagating churches is a main goal of missions. (Mt. 16:18, 1Cor. 112:12, Eph. 1:22-23, 3:10, 1Tim. 3:15)
We believe that a Christian will go directly into the presence of the Lord upon their physical death and one day will receive a resurrected body reigning eternally with Jesus. (2Cor. 5:8, Phil. 1:23, Jn. 14:3)
We believe that Jesus commands us to be witnesses to our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Ac. 1:8), making disciples of all nations and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. (Mt. 28:18-20)
