Gospel Outbound empowers poor women, many of them widows, in businesses so they can provide for themselves and their families and help give to the work of the church and missions.
Family economic empowerment is accomplished through business training and micro loans to help them start small businesses. This is an important hand up because access to training and operating capital for poor families is extremely difficult when most make less than $2 per day.
Our goal is to develop empowerment models, including church savings and loan groups, that will be reproduced from church to church and follow our church planting activities in Northern Africa and beyond. As the churches prosper, so will their abilities to help the poor and sow into missions.
